What are the most popular keywords? What people search for?

Last August, The Yahoo! Bing search alliance went a step ahead, as Bing is powering organic search in English, for the US and Canada, which means that Bing is powering 5.2 billion monthly searches giving Bing a 31.6% of the search market.

The Microsoft ad center is the new platform for all search campaigns and the self service advertisers, while Yahoo! Sales team supports high volume advertisers, SEO and SEM agencies.
Search results outside the US and Canada continue to be powered by Yahoo! Full transition will be ready by 2012.

Quite a few are worried because of Yahoo!´s tradition of bad search decisions. One of these concerns is related to the possibility of compromising search quality in favor of paid listings.

There are also those who believe that Google is vulnerable to the advent of a new, great search engine, because Google perceived favoring of big ticked high pay advertisers over small business and the lack of enough social media feedback to help rank sites.

Google remains an excellent tool and the Yahoo! Bing alliance is not expected to make a dent in Google´s dominance of the search market.

Simultaneously,, Google is using its Google instant which increase response speed to any queries, giving search results even before users finish typing.

That improvement could attract users to use Google as their default search engine.

Google is aware of their rivals, Microsoft Corp, Yahoo! Inc, Facebook and their technology gives Google ammunition to confront their rivals.

Marissa Mayer Google´s vice president of search and user experience announced Google Instant which is so fast that it could be returning search results just when the user type the first letter of his/her query.

If the results don´t match when the user continue typing, the page refresh itself and return the appropriate results.

Many analysts foresee this new technology will become a real “game changer” that gives Google a great advantage over its competitors.

Yahoo! People believe search is critical to them and they will continue providing services like the BOSS program, which stands for Build your Own Search Service which provide web and image search results.

Yahoo! Believe users will benefit from the change and advertiser will have a larger audience which will give them better results.

Anybody heard of a hide for 30 days challenge?

I heard about this a while ago. It involved a large sum of money with half being given to the participants in the beginning, and the other half being paid out at the conclusion (if they complete the challenge successfully). There are people pursuing the contestants and they have to evade capture for 30 days to win the money. Does this sound familiar to anybody, anyone have info?

the first one sounds better if you want to write more personal letters but if you dont then the second one sounds better

What 30 Day Challenges should I do?

I am already half way through ‘running every day’ as a challenge. I set some other challenges that are about stopping doing something (no surfing garbage on the internet, no junk food, no caffeine) and these are relatively simple as they are more passive. But active things – things where you must do something – these are more of a challenge. Running I am doing. I do a bit of writing and painting, maybe do those as a challenge. Reading for an hour every day maybe.
But please give me some ideas.

Help one person each day without getting any credit, if they say thank you, or if you tell anyone about it, it doesn’t count.

Read a chapter in the bible every night. Two if they are very short, or set an hour time limit.. It is the most interesting book ever written.

Keep a journal, start it out with your weight.

Do one thing every day that you’ve never done before. Enter a new store, go to the movies alone, eat at a restaurant by yourself, get a library card, return something to the store for a refund, go to a dance, a museum, etc

Good for you for wanting to be a better person.
