There are more parasitic species of animals than all other sorts of animals combined. Why do you think parasitism is such a runaway success? What are the drawbacks of being a parasite?
Well, for a drawback, you obviously do need a host, and so you are fairly reliant upon the availability of host organisms. The reason for their success is probably due to the fact that being a parasite allows you to hijack certain elements of the host’s internal mechanisms, and use up various products without doing the hard work to convert them in the first place. This allows parasites to be relatively simple and not expend lots of energy on things like metabolism.
I suppose another benefit is that once you’ve found your host, your pretty much set; no further energy expenditure necessary till your host dies or you are forcefully ejected. Also, the insides of other animals is a very good place to raise little parasites; plentiful warmth and food!

1. Hitting them and stabbing them and leaving them dead by the side of the road.

Why do some people let success and money get to their head let them change as a person to a point you don’t recognize them ?
If they come from humble beginnings and they get money – why do they start acting different in front of people they used to know ?
They get new friends, they talk to old ones like they are customers and try to sell them their stuff or talk down to whoever they used to know..
Why do people let money goto their head ?
Cuz they miss the point.
I feel like such a failure. Im 35, never owned a house, car or anything of value. I rent a house off my parents (sad). I went to uni and studied science but can’t get a job in the field as I need a postgraduate degree to work in science and I can’t afford more study. I am not qualified for anything else and so can’t even get a job as a cleaner as they want me to have experience in the cleaning industry.
What does success in life really mean?
success; to find out what it is that gives you a feeling of success
whether you are a homeless man or a CEO of a fortune 500 company… as long as you find happiness, you are doing the right thing.
