Adam Smith, the scotish economist and philosopher from the 18^th century, who wrote the “Wealth Of Nations” and is considered the father of capitalism, could never think of China as a place where he would be admired and respected for his economic thoughts.

GlobalScan found that 74% of the Chinese population believes that the market economy is the best system for the future development of the world. This is a great surprise if we take into consideration that just 25 years ago, the Chinese government was the only master in enonomic issues.

China is surprising indeed. As of August of 2009 China has become the first automaker in the world. After decades of Usa supremacy, China is now the leading automaker and the largest market and the fastest growing economy, which gives China a dominant force to become the first world economy.

Openning China´s to the Global Market has been very positive for the world and for the Chinese themselves.

It is possible to foresee a growth in the chinesse economy 50 years from now, which means China is going to move the world economy at a growing pace. Their economy Is growing at more than 10% per year and is  pushing World Markets in such a way that they appear as the  leaders of World economic growth.

Constructionn is growing very fast and huge skyscrapers, occidental style are common nowadays and private property is growing at a very high rate.

Rapid urbanization is a defining feature of contemporary China. High-rise buildings are mushrooming in cities throughout the country.One of the largest projects undertaken in China is the Fenyu railway station. There, a lake is kept as an empty space surrounded by commercial center with hotels and highways creating a haven of ying-yang energies between land and lake.

The Internet is also taking the chinesse people by storm. Even though there are great restrictions to individual freedoms as we know in the western world. There is a growing use rate of personal computers not only for business but for personall use.

Internet Cafes are almost everywhere in China. As per CNN findings, there are more than 110 millionn users, second only to the United States.

There is a great and increasing use of the Internet. The Chinese government launched a new website to promote the study and use of the Chinese language. The site foster different sections to help foreigners both in China and abroad to use the Chinese language.

Adam Smith as many modern economists never dreamed of China as one of the leading capitalist minded countries in the world. Capitalism and Adam Smith are well known among Chinese people nowadays.
